Privacy Policy

When you create an account, we collect account details provided by your authentication provider, including your email address and display name if available. We also store usage data needed to run the product, including lesson reads, checklist progress, completion state, and time spent learning.

We do not collect payment card details. Payment information is handled directly by Stripe. We store only billing metadata required to provide membership access, such as customer identifiers and subscription status.

We use an authentication session cookie so you can stay signed in. We do not use tracking cookies. We do include one Carbon Ads script for free users, and that script may use its own standard ad-delivery mechanisms.

We use account and usage data to save progress across sessions, award badges, remember your selected theme, and provide membership state where applicable. This is core product functionality.

We do not sell personal data. We do not share personal data with third parties except where necessary to run service components, specifically Stripe for payment processing and Carbon Ads for the single ad unit shown to free users.

Account and progress data are retained until you ask us to delete your account. Progress data is tied to your account and is removed with account deletion.

Billing records are retained as required by applicable law, including financial record retention periods that can extend up to seven years.

You can request a copy of your data and you can request deletion of your account and associated records. Contact privacy@fieldliterate.com for privacy requests.

We aim to respond to privacy requests within 30 days.

Field Literate is not directed to children under 13. If we become aware that an account belongs to a child under 13, we will delete that account and associated data.
